PICTURE POST II!

As do most. But doubling the price tag usually keeps that out of reach for most and hurricanes aren't a concern.

Oh, went to a Who themed wedding last weekend:

Brie, thank you for rescuing those ducks. It absolutely disgusts me that people do this to animals.

Leaving them i nbaoxes aside the road so they can get run over or can't get out and die? Assholes.

Throwing them in trash cans and leaving them to die? Assholes.

Murdering them because they can't keep them or don't want them anymore? Assholes.

Buying them neck up and running them over with a lawn mower? Absolute assholes.

Unfortunately, all those that weren't your example, are real examples.

Casa Loma is one of many museums I saw. :) (I also visited the CBC museum and the Ontario Science Centre; I was going to see the Royal Ontario Museum but I didn't have time :sigh: )

I did go inside - probably took more pictures there than in anything else I saw in Toronto. It's a museum and tourist attraction now, but it was originally built as a home for Sir Henry Pellatt who was a very famous businessman and military officer a century ago. Linky

My only regret is that I didn't get there in time this year to use the Union Pearson Express. I missed it by THREE WEEKS! :scream:

It'll certainly be convenient, but they set the cost rather high.

True dat, but it's a price I'd gladly pay. It's a damn sight cheaper than cab fare!

(Getting *from* the airport, I took the Airport Rocket bus to Kipling station, then a couple of subway lines to my hotel. Cheap, but took too damn long - almost an hour total. I'd gladly pay the UP Express fare to get there quicker - takes less than half an hour. And I can use my Presto card)
