PICTURE POST II!

Smooth. :)

I know that feeling all too well. On the bright side at least haircuts don't take as long as they used to!
Thanks! :D
Though it still seems to take a while. Anyway, sorry about the stubble, I can't decide whether I want to grow a full beard or not.

My stubble is so rough it could probably remove barnacles from a battleship. If I don't keep my face shaven every couple of days or so I might as well go ahead and grow a beard.

Same here. The above growth is about 3 days. I usually keep the van dyke, but I'm kind of curious to shave it all off and see how that looks, since I think the last time I did that was about 6 years ago.

This is Mirror Universe J., which is the cool one. If you shave, you'll just be dull, boring Prime Universe J.

At this point J. you should just invest in some clippers and become your own barber. I've been doing that for the past 10 years or so now.

Yeah, once mine went short I've largely been sorting it out myself for a couple of years. I still need to find better clippers.

I've been cutting my own hair for years. I haven't paid a barber to trim my head in so long I can't remember what year it was.

It's probably for the best, yeah.

I'm liking the stubble.

As for doing the hair thing yourself, my two cents is pay for pampering. I suspect you don't indulge yourself too often and there is nothing quite like letting someone massage your scalp and take care of you. Hubs tells me it is very relaxing to have an old fashioned shave too; warm towel and brushy-brush lather and all. You deserve it and so does Eddie, I'm sure.

It's a good thing I don't have long, shaggy hair because my head hair tends to be very thin and I'd probably look really goofy if I went for the long, bushy hair down to the back of my neck and over the front of my ears.

We went to a birthday party at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum today and got a picture of my daughter and I with another Enterprise. She was very distracted by all her friends there so it was hard to get her to look at the camera.

She's getting so big!

And the Enterprise is really cleaned up. I saw her at NASA the week before they moved her and she looked rough.

Good point.
Keep the Van Dyke/Goatee though, even if you shave the rest, especially if it fits with how you see yourself. Whenever I was able to use an electric razor, I always kept my mustache. Started letting it grow right after high school, because we weren't allowed to have them. I've essentially worn one since 1969. It's how I see "me".

In Alameda.

I gots myself a haircut, for what hair I had left.

Oh, absolutely. I've had this goatee for a long time. It's definitely me.

I'm the same when it comes to certain items of clothing, specifically hats. I've become synonymous with certain jackets and caps and some friends playfully tease me when I don't wear them. Apparently I don't look or seem like Eddie if I wear something radically different. :)
