Yes, he said his truck was full of the little boxes to be delivered. He even stayed and wait for us to open it. Said he waited to late to order and won't receive his until October 3rd.
I have done this since my first iPhone. This is my last picture taken with my old iPhone 4, of the new iPhone 5.

Had our Science Fiction Meetup on Long Island NY today at Panera Bread. There were 10 people at the Meetup, one of our better turn outs.
Was at the Mall today and Tesla opened their store, I was able to sit in the car. Its really nice, the 17" display is beautiful. Didn't think to ask about a test drive.

Its a website called Meetup http://www.meetup.com/ where you can find people with like interest and they have get togethers, events and such. There is an iPhone App as well, not sure if their is a Droid or Windows Phone one. They have different Meetup groups for all kinds of interest. Like writing, filmmaking, cross stich, boardgames and more. Its a great place to make friends with people who have same interest.

Won't it be awesome if they make it? The only time the team had a shot was when they were still the Expos- and that was the year the Series was cancelled because of the strike (1994).
My mom's garden is still growing good stuff. I picked tomatoes and peppers today, and discovered a new baby pumpkin:
The only sunflowers planted this year finally came out:
And there was a little surprise- a late blooming lily! The last lilies usually die off in mid August.
Mom has had irises pop up after the first snow, but I doubt that will happen this year.
That's what I did this weekend.
