As to the "who is that" question, I would answer "who cares!" I would go gay, then go back, for her.

As far as the theme: John Barrowman (seems like a real fun guy aside from the obvious) or Roy Kahn (not sure why, but he's very theatrical).

Well, not that there was any doubt before, but reading this thread only confirmed my straightness. All the guys who mentioned Johnny Depp...I'm totally on board with that!

I don't know...I read the names of some of the actresses mentioned, even ones who are very pretty, and try to imagine having sex with them...and I got nothin'. So then I started mentally flipping through the female characters on movies and TV shows I like, and came up with precious little there too. Plenty of guys...but other women...not so much.

I had to do a lot of thinking to come up with anyone at all...but I'll go with Stephanie March from L&O SVU. I've always thought she was really beautiful and elegant...and although I don't know anything about her personally, her character comes across as smart, and that would be really hard to pull off if the actress was stupid. I also really like her mannerisms and speech patterns.

So I'll go with her.

But I'd still trade any of the guys in the crowd for Johnny Depp.

I don't know...I read the names of some of the actresses mentioned, even ones who are very pretty, and try to imagine having sex with them...and I got nothin'.

I always understand this questions along the lines of: Who to you is attractive/do you respect so that, if circumstances were different, you'd be into them?

I'm also pretty confirmed in my being straight and cannot imagine having sex with a woman, but if I were gay? Kate Winslet. She seems like a decent, funny person and is amazingly pretty.

Okay the obvious answer aside (to the direct left actually) I will say Melinda Clarke of The O.C., Firefly and Nikita fame (photos in that order). She was also on Enterprise in Broken Bow.







She always plays interesting feisty characters and there is a sensuality to her that is kind of electric. I actually bought The O.C. because of her (and Jeri Ryan was a great bonus too).

Well, not much chance of going Gay, but I certainly know what an attractive man looks like. Back in the day, it would have been Robert Wagner, Sidney Poitier, Russell Johnson or George Harrison. Among contemporary celebrities, I'd pick TJ Thyne, Jensen Ackles, Joe Morton or Joe Flannigan. Okay, fine, Johnny Depp.

attractiveness is part of the criteria, respect is not.(unless you want to add it personally) It's basically "who do you consider to be SO attractive that it fuzzes the edges of your orientation?" and not so much "can you picture having sex with them?" since I don't think you could really flip the switch like that, no matter how attractive the person was.

Well, if that's the definition (of which I still think that respect plays a role as it can heighten or lower attractiveness), then I'd also have to go with no one. But then again, I think that the Kate Winslet answer was more interesting.

It certainly makes some of the answers interesting, that's for sure. Some of the men a couple of the male posters selected are not attractive to me as a straight female in the slightest. Some of these are good actors, to be sure. But they are not that attractive to me. And usually, when I am discussing this with other girls, even if I don't find a particular actor attractive, I can see why another girl might, anyway.

Although granted, I also do not keep up with Hollywood gossip, interviews with actors, etc...so maybe these guys are just such great guys that they are made attractive by that? Have no idea.

Well, intellectually speaking, I'm easy. Well, okay, that may be overstating it a bit as I'm really not easy, because I do have high standards, it's just that those standards end up being so fundamental to the point where those who possess them are extremely attractive as a result.

Plus, I like to cuddle, and some of them look like awesome cuddlers.

Hey....I was just making conversation, so although I didn't specifically say so, I was, in fact, kinda asking for thoughts/opinions/whatever.

But yeah, that's the thing, isn't it?: everyone's internal criteria is different...and to me, that is just as interesting as the actual celebrity names or whatever.
