Alright, the discussion of wokeness ends now. And I don't care what side of it you're on.

I'm fine with that. I was in the middle of typing my last post when you were typing yours.

That this was a simultaneous post is noted, but tone it down in the future, or you're going to earn your next warning.Oh this might be fun.
Let the record show that it was @Racefuel who wrote the following:
To which, I replied...
And that was the end of it. Or it could have been. Until a certain someone that got butthurt by the audacity of another human being not subscribing to his narrow, hate-filled world view.

Thus far, he's not the one insisting on getting in the last word. You've earned a reply ban from this thread. That you included the other poster this time is noted, but unless you're going to threaten the guy provoking these fights with a warning of his own...
Well you already know.
I don’t HATE it but it could have been another ship same class as Titan-A…….seems rude to wipe out the Titan history. But I ain’t gonna sweat it too much.TrekCore:
"And in one final masterstroke, a choice so clear and obvious that, of course, you never see it coming, Matalas and his team make a truly grand, genuinely great, generational, and glorious decision to rechristen the Titan as the Enterprise-G. It’s genius."
So far that's the only positive reaction to the stupid G renaming that I've seen![]()
And it's not like TrekCore is always positive, they've said negative things about previous episodes.TrekCore:

Really? Of all the obvious things I saw, that was the most obvious. Oh well.you never see it coming
Yeah. Mine's double edged. It seems silly, for Seven and for the Titan legacy, but I simultaneously like the idea that Seven is now captain of the Enterprise.I don’t HATE it but it could have been another ship same class as Titan-A…….seems rude to wipe out the Titan history. But I ain’t gonna sweat it too much.
Matalas should have renamed it USS Picard.
If you watch the final scene with the name "USS Picard" in mind, it sure does play like that was the intention:
First Jack thinks he got in on the family name, is rebuffed with "names don't matter." Then, reveal ship name and rebuttal "names are all that matter." Cue Picard tearing up.
It makes way more sense as the Picard as opposed to the Enterprise.
Their association with Picard probably didn't hurt. Though JL has, in recent years been, declared persona non grata in the fleet a couple of times.I just don't like to think about a world in which it's canonically accurate to say that Seven, Raffi, and Jack are all riding Picard.
I'd like to hear the pitch myself.https://trekmovie.com/2023/04/24/te...date-alex-kurtzman-hears-fans-loud-and-clear/
It sounds like the door is open to Star Trek Legacy spin off of Picard. Kurtzman says he heard fans loudly and clearly and talk are ongoing between Kurtzman and Matalas, but development hasn't started yet. Sounds like they are still working on the pitch to Paramount.

First Star Trek and only the second Paramount+ show to hit the top 10 streaming shows.
No way that Picard season 3 doesn't launch a Star Trek: Legacy, I mean the popularity of Pike's character was enough to get Strange New Worlds made, and this is orders greater, I mean its the thing Paramount wanted out of its live action series starting with Discovery, and when that suffered with low ratings, Picard which only achieve that with season 3. I wouldn't be surprised if its doing so well that Paramount+ sees somekind of bump ratings bump in other Star Trek series.
I'd like to hear the pitch myself.
