I got a question. How much time has passed between the 9/11 style attack and from where we see the current time setting Picard living in his vineyard?

Hopefully, we get Geordi as a surprise at the end of the season. But I’m very content seeing this friend, and seeing her look the way she’s supposed to. Hopefully, no more gratuitous redesigns...

I also hope we will see Geordi, Beverly and even Worf sometime during the series run.

If there is a ship which does not need a redesign concerning exteriors it is the Enterprise-D.

NEW VIDEO ON CBS’S FB PAGE! And right off bat, we see an OLD FRIEND!!! :luvlove:

Interestingly, this version differs slightly from the version CBS posted on FB moments ago. In the FB version, Data at the end appears as he did in the early trailers, whereas on YouTube he sports the final CGI look.

Agreed. My favorite ship by far. Everything about it holds up well even today, from the touch screen LCARS to the 80s future interiors. It’s a truly magnificent design. I sincerely doubt many modern designs (including Discovery’s) will look this good thirty years later.

80s Raddison Hotel inspired interior design is forever it seems.

Yeah, especially the Discovery looks kinda generic to me, Voyager was too much grey imho, although better than Discovery's.

Concerning interiors the Ent-E comes very close to the D and i also like the refit E's design on which the D is based. But still the D is my... N° 1. :adore:

Discovery’s look is just generic sci-fi so it should be timeless.
