The two romulans he talks to are the two from the comicSo looks like Orla Brady's character is actually the other Romulan living on the Vineyard that was seen in the comics and teasers.

What is it in the dog's mouth?
Looks like a stick, but from the conversation I'm assuming it's a bone. What is it in the dog's mouth?
Something he has slobbered all over and she wants nothing to do with it.What is it in the dog's mouth?
Personally I don't want static camera back, but I really found Discovery's camerawork distracting at times. Don't do a fast pan, shakycam, etc unless there's some pressing reason to.

I didn't find that camerawork distracting because it was obviously set up at roughly the speed a human being would shift their focus with a head turn or something. It's when camerawork does something a person can't easily do that it brings you out of immersion.
Do the Romulans have a yellow-green tint to their skin? Or are they the pasty white Ethan Peck is in Discovery.

What's the political tone of the 3 episodes? They haven't been released, yet, but the political "dark-web" has already been bashing ST:PCRD and Patrick Stewart's stance. There were comments like:

I don’t recall any skin colouring to them. I think we’re officially away from that now.
