Hello Star Trek Fans, and welcome to the Star Trek Photostrip Thread, or
PhotoTrek.
Over the years I have made one panel Star Trek jokes, some with text bubbles . . .
or multiple panel jokes with Text inside bubbles, or just used images with text above them as you might expect on a message board. Whether it's a small joke or a lengthier one, or even a full blown Star Trek Fan episode, I think they're fun to do and fun to read.
Images can be drawn, simple screen captures, found on the Internet, and/or "Shopped" or altered in various ways to make your strip. While they should at least partially be Star Trek in some way, they may include other source materials as well.
Please bear in mind, everything here will likely be
"A STAR TREK FAN PRODUCTION"
and no poster should claim ownership of any copyrighted material. Therefore, I imagine if CBS/Paramount ever complained and asked us to take them down, we would do so. C'est la vie.
Star Trek and all related marks, logos and characters are solely owned by CBS Studios Inc. This fan production is not endorsed by, sponsored by, nor affiliated with CBS, Paramount Pictures, or any other Star Trek franchise, and is a non-commercial fan-made strip intended for recreational use. No commercial exhibition or distribution is permitted. No alleged independent rights will be asserted against CBS or Paramount Pictures.
With that said, I'll post a few images or strips here to start and may add more later, and I invite anyone to comment on them, or better yet, make and post their own strips, also under the above provisions, of course.
However, I have discovered when you use more than one image in a post, it could take considerable time to download them all and might slow down a browser or hang it up until all the downloads are complete, even possibly preventing a person from scrolling past them until the browser is ready. To avoid that problem, I ask anyone posting three to twenty images (the limit per post) in a single post to put the strip inside spoiler tags. This option is under the plus sign on this board, though one could type spoiler tags in manually if you know how. That way, only those who wish to view the particular strip will have to wait for it to download.
So, serious or irreverent, and always bearing in mind "funny" is highly subjective, if you think others might enjoy a strip you have made, or even a single Trek-like image or joke, I hope you will take the time to post it here.
One more thing. If you like a joke or a PhotoTrek strip and it brings a smile to your face or makes you laugh or think, I'd appreciate it if you "Liked" it so I know which ones are working, and which ones aren't so much. Thanks.
