Photoshop & Frames To Layers Question

I use PhotoShop CS3 to make animated .gif's. When I bring in the various frames as layers, I would like to be able to change brightness & contrast on all layers at once, but can't figure out how.

Right now, I need to highlight a single frame at the bottom & the same single layer at the right before I can make an adjustment. If I don't match the two, the selection for "adjustments" (under the Image tab) will be grayed out.

I've tried highlighting all the frames & all the layers, making sure the "eye" was also checked on all the layers, but no dice.

Any ideas?

See the half black/white circle at the bottom of the layers window? That's how you do it. Create a new layer and make sure it's the topmost one, then click on the black/white circle. You can select brightness/contrast, HSV, levels and so on. It acts as an overlay that works on all layers beneath it - and can be edited, disabled or deleted without altering the other frames. I use it a lot, for it is groovy awesome.

:D

For some reason, using the Unify option works now, without creating a new layer, though it creates an unnumbered layer for the brightness change.

Previously, it was only changing one layer/frame no matter what I did.

I use the brightness option at the bottom like you suggested, then Unify Layer Visability, and they all change.

And voila, a new AV.

Thanks for the insights, whichever version. I'd probably still be getting frustrated otherwise.
