Photoshop Enterprise!

After looking over the new design, which I think will eventually grow on me, I decided to do a little photoshopping and make it closer to my taste. So heres my take on it. Has anyone else done this yet?

pff, at least I recognize the image above, I don't know what Abrams is calling that thing but it's not the Enterprise sorry...updated i can live with, redesigned I can live with...but not butt #$%&%*$ ugly

I agree with that... it's just a liiiiitle bit too far forward, which gives it an odd underbitey look.

I prefer the nacelles on Tuln's image though - spot on!

That little change makes all the difference in the world. It takes away the awkward look, and restores that air of both power and grace the Ent and Ent-A had.

Agreed, and thanks! I look at this minor adjustment ans think, "OK, there she is," but I'm still not to crazy about her nacelles.

If I might suggest something: perhaps those of you who are posting your own adjusted versions of the Enterprise could include with your image a brief description of the modifications you've made?

I'm sure that, for the modelers and art/graphics guys, the altered details are jumping right out, but for us other folks who don't have all the measurements and proportions committed to memory and don't do this all the time, a hint about just where we should be looking would be appreciated.

My favorite so far actually.

Here's my effort. Made the engines thinner, made the pylons thinner, made the neck not sweep back quite so far. Moved the deflector dish back, moved the under side sweep back.

If you could somehow cut a bit of size off of the saucer, it'd be fantastic. Right now its still kinda overwhelming the rest of the ship.
