At the end of 2010 I had to journey from NYC to the St. Lawrence River in northern New York State to see my terminally ill father. To cut down on travel, I flew from Albany to Ogdensburg over the Adirondack mountains where I took this shot. Needless to say, the journey was as much emotional as it was geographical:

Maybe use a wide angle lens to capture the drooping, shriveling flowers?

Hmmm, might be doable! But I was thinking along the lines of a dog doing the startled wake-up and smelling itself as if thinking: What on earth was that? - Was it me?

I suppose one could film it and then make a gif, though...

Thanks! But no, photography is not my profession - just a (very passionate) hobby. I certainly would love to find a way to get paid to do it, but I wouldn't even know where to begin.
