Wow, I spend six days in Atlanta and come back to six pages to read... you guys are slacking.
Back on the beer topic, while I was in Atlanta I had three Heinekens, two pints of Guinness and a Sam Adams in a tall glass.
(Sorry, I really did have to make it scan to "The Twelve Days Of Christmas" once I realized how many I'd had of each type of beer.)
I also had two strong vodka-lime drinks at the party I was at on Sunday night, and then the weakest-ass screwdriver I'd ever had in my life in the Hyatt bar after the party got shut down by hotel security. I'm not normally a vodka drinker, but since that's what they were serving at the party, I figured I should stick with it.
I do enjoy a Scotch from time to time - I have a bottle of Glenmorangie (port finish) and a bottle of Glenfiddich in the kitchen.
Normally I drink red or dark beers, but Guinness is a once-in-a-while thing for me. My preference is for Keith's Red, then Rickard's Red. There's a brew pub near me, called The Granite Brewery, where they make a pretty nice stout called Peculiar. I enjoy a little Peculiar once in a while - it has a very nutty flavour. (Don't say it.)
