    Sad news about someone who had a difficult life. "Man of the World" is one of the saddest quite brilliant songs there is. Especially the final line.

    Fleetwood Mac is my second-favorite band ever (just behind Green Day), and the Peter Green era contains some of my favorite stuff from the band's catalogue, so this is a major loss for the music industry.

    I was lucky enough to see Peter Green’s Splinter Blues Band in Orlando about 1997 in Belfast. Cozy Powell and, IIRC, Neil Murray on bass. TBH, By that time Peter was really not the player he had once been and the other guitarist, Nigel Watson, did most of the singing and playing. But still, it was amazing to see the great man onstage after all he’d been through. RIP, man of the world.
