Peter David Runs Out of Insurance, Loses Medicaid

Last year, I'd had a chance to have him read one of my books and had worked to set it up this year. Sadly, I didn't get the chance to hear his thoughts.

He deserved so much better. The man was a legend.

He was an absolutely fantastic writer, and wrote some of the all time classic Trek novels. It's also worth remembering that if it weren't for his New Frontier books, we probably never would have gotten Titan, Vangauard, Corps of Engineers, or any of the other Trek books not based on a TV series. His only non-Trek books I've read was Knight Life, which was just as good as his Trek book. I know his DC and Marvel comics have a really good reputation, but I've never read any of them.
