That's terrible to hear. He's by far my favourite Trek author. Q-Squared took me from a casual Star Trek follower to a fanatic. His New Frontier books are the only Trek novels I've bought since 2000.

I hope he recovers as quickly and fully as someone can from such a devastating event.

Apparently he has made his first post-stroke con visit at the Farpoint convention this weekend. I don't think he is part of the con program, but damn, PAD is really a tough guy.
