Pelia and Akharin

One of the first people she came out to was Amanda Grayson. So only they would know to ask questions. A rather recent event, especially form Pelia's standpoint.

Pelia's group of Lanthanites choose to live on Earth. But they aren't native to Earth.
Do we know this for sure? It's said they've been on Earth for all of humanity's existence. So from the time of Cro-Magnon or even before.

Pelia's basically a kid compared to 50,000 plus year old Bele of 'Let that be your last battlefield'
Not all species gets to live that long, that's amazing that his species has that kind of longevity.

The things they must've seen over the very long course of their life time.

It's hard to know exactly what part she says is true, given she won't tell us exact details on screen.

We can only infer from the info we have.

Obviously new episodes / seasons will let us know more.

Pelia knowing Flint isn't implausible. Flint references knowing Socrates, while Pelia references knowing Pythagoras. Socrates was born about 25 years after Pythagoras died. Assuming those Pelia hung around with included Socrates among the heavy hitters of Greek society that she hung out with at that time, she could have met and known Flint.

Considering that Flint later set himself up as Alexander the Great later on, assuming Pelia was still in Ancient Greece if she had contact with Alexander then she'd recognize him.

If Pelia changed her identity roughly as often as Flint, they might have met multiple times, and not known it.
Perhaps it depends on if both were not in a cycle of isolation?

Sure. My impression was Flint gravitated to cities of importance, mixed in with periods of isolation. Pelia might have done the same.

Maybe her recollections are part of the "fragments". She could only share what she experienced first hand or read about. She wouldn't know much else.
Yes, as I understand it, while oral history has a place in historical study, the field relies much more heavily on written records as the basis for everything.

Akharin is a non-canon name.

I thought that in the "Requiem..." episode, Flint himself says, "I was Akharin, a soldier, a bully and a fool."

It was not mentioned when Flint described his origins?

From a transcript of the episode;
year 3834 BC, as the millennia are reckoned. I was Akharin, a soldier, a bully and a fool. I fell in battle, pierced to the heart and did not die.

It does help that the Lanthanite species blends in perfectly with Humans.

Lanthanites Physiology were almost indistinguishable from Humans.

Also, her species life-span is VERY LONG.

In 2022, Pelia claimed that she hadn't taken a math class "since Pythagoras made the crap up".

Assuming she isn't lying, her species can EASILY live in the 4-digit (#,###) amount of years with no problem.

Hell we don't know if her species can live onto 5-digits or beyond, the range of how old she can be is pretty insane.

maybe her people are the long lived biblical "humans."

if they predated humans, they could be the source of modern humans (lots of conspiracy fiction suggesting humans were created by aliens crossbreading us or them with something to make us.

i think i am about the only person that was super intrigued by the mythology of the show "the event."

i have never bought that number. haven't seen the episode in years; can we assume their year is a different length, or did they actually say YOUR EARTH YEARS. lol.
