An interview with good ole JJ revealed that JJ showed Simon Pegg the movie trailer on his iPhone while at Comic-Con and Pegg weeped while watching it.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to why he would weep at a movie trailer?

I think he's just in awe that he's a part of a long-lasting great franchise known as Star Trek
