Pegg weeps after viewing TREK trailer

Well, on November 14th, when we all run off to "Quantum of Solice" we'll be able to see what Pegg was weeping about.

An interview with good ole JJ revealed that JJ showed Simon Pegg the movie trailer on his iPhone while at Comic-Con and Pegg weeped while watching it.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to why he would weep at a movie trailer?

Pics or it DIDN'T HAPPEN!
I've had enough Hollywood shit shoveled in my mouth this year. I want to see pictures of Simon Pegg on his hands and knees, quaking like an overheated Chinese blender, wailing like the Ghost of Starsceam.

Quatum of Solice may have the biggest Bind opening weekend of any Bond film and the fewest # of people actually to stay through the first act.:lol:

Sometimes it scares me to think that any of them could lurk here. Some of the things that folks post is just daft at times. Or makes us look like narrow-minded idiots.

You're only a narrow-minded idiot if you don't agree with me 100% of the time since my own personal vision of Star Trek is the one true way. :p

HEY DO YOU REMEMBER when "Enemy of the State" opened over a decade ago? It was the first movie to have a trailer for "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" play. The word spread so fast that the movie started selling out tickets JUST for the preview. When it was found out that people were literally leaving the movie after the trailer, the producers of "Enemy of the State" convince theaters to play the trailer before and AFTER the movie and required them to mention, when the ticket was bought, that it would play twice JUST to get people to stay and watch the movie.

He realized that the new movie was a re-boot afterall despite what JJ had told him! Pegg only wanted to be in the movie if it was strictly in original continuity.

He could have just been drunk. We British cry at the slightest of things when we're drunk. Alcohol brings our emotions to the surface. Like when you've had a few swift ones on a Saturday night and you get the drunken impression that a particular person is looking at you in the wrong way. We get angry and feel the need to teach them a lesson they'll never forget.

Pegg was just arseholed, like I am right now!

I think the question was sarcastic, and this was ment to be a non-serious thread, but I will risk being a, what do you say, a "noob" and answer it - he probably saw himself playing an iconic character, one that he remembered from his childhood, and that coupled with how it would probably change his life made him emotional. I remember Kate Mulgrew saying she cried after she got the part of Janeway, because she knew it would change her life.

Or maybe he is just a pussy.

There is only one thing that could make Scotty cry:

The Enterprise is destroyed!

Ok, there is also this:

His legs aren't as good as Doohan's.
