Biggest problem with ENT was we never got to see Tucker eating pecan pie while in his underwear.

Network Censors. They wouldn't allow them to show him naked.

There isn't enough Trip in his underwear.

He saved this show. With his ginormous... nevermind.

Just imagine what they'd have been allowed to do if ENT was on a no-rules streaming service like Discovery is:p

(And you thought the decon gel scenes were bad already?:rommie:)

Actually "Discovery" still has some rules. CBS All Access isn't exactly HBO. Still if the show was done with the type of rules "Discovery" has I am guessing Trip's underwear would have been made to be a little more sexual. You would get a Trip/TPol sex scene. Trip's "Son of a BItch" lines might have instead be "Fuck Me." and so forth.

That depends on how likely you are to use the likes of jobbernowl, sard, or uppishman today. Language evolves and what are common curses today may have fallen into disuse by the 22nd/23rd centuries and no longer have the impact it may have today.

Yes, I think it was their way of reiterating that Tripp was a southern boy. It's the same reason why names are more often used in a first season of a show even during conversations of just two characters who already know each other.
