PC/Console Games You're Looking Forward to

Sadly, other than MG4, there's just nothing on the horizon that I find worthy. There's just a lot of superficial crap.

I'm intrigued by The Force Unleashed, but I can't recall the last good Star Wars game I played outside of the KOTOR series.

Outside of that, I'm only looking forward to Ghostbusters III, LEGO Indiana Jones, Saints Row 2 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

-Halo Wars or whatever it's called... those guys can do a good shooter, but how withh their RTS look?

Bungie isn't developing Halo Wars, it's being done at Ensemble. They developed the Age of Empires games so they're no stranger to strategy games.

Oh. Well, as long as it's more like AoE III, and less like the previous AoE or AoM, I'll be cool then. I don't know why, but I could never get into their older RTS's.

My two big ones right now are Metal Gear Solid 4 and Persona 4. Other than that there's Street Fighter IV and Command and Conquer Red Alert 3

Being a tri-Ace fanboy, Infinite Undiscovery is probably at the top of my list right now, followed by Valkyrie Profile DS.

Below them there's a whole jumble of titles:

LEGO Indy
LEGO Batman
Tales of Symphonia II
Tales of Vesperia
Sonic Unleashed
Gears of War 2
Alan Wake
Resident Evil 5
Samba de Amigo

I'm mainly looking forward to Fallout 3, WoW: WOTLK and WAR. I'll most likely also be picking up Fable 2, Spore, Lego Indiana Jones and Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and Too Human. I don't have real high expectations for Too Human.

I forgot to say, I was looking forward to Rock Band but then I discovered that you can't use a normal 360 pad for guitars and drums like you can with Guitar Hero III, so that's a sale lost.

Fallout 3 is my big one for this year. As a huge fan of the series, I've been waiting for this with bated breath ever since the announcement. Also, I can't wait to see the wingnuts over at No Mutants Allowed finally implode on themselves from frustration. :D

Mercenaries 2 is another. The original is still my favourite open-world sandbox of all time - even after being genuinely impressed with GTAIV - so I'm not missing this for anything.

Other than those two, there isn't too much else coming out this year which I absolutely need, barring a surprise announcement of Suikoden VI or a surprisingly fast English localization of Persona IV. I have my eye on Metal Gear Solid IV, but I won't be playing it for a long time thanks to the whole "not having a PS3" thing.

1)Final Fantasy XIII

2)Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The rest:
- Lego Indiana Jones
- Lego Batman
- Motorstorm 2: Pacific Rift

I read that the reason there won't be a PC release of this game is because it's been built totally with console controls in mind.
Pretty weird reason, considering I can just plug a 360 controller in my PC if I felt the need.

Adding Ghostbusters and Red Alert 3 to my list. :bolian:

Sure, but isn't the point in buying the PC version, that you want a PC experience? And you can't expect every person who wants to play it to run out and get a 360 controller to play it with.

Empire:Total war.

Might check out Spore but I'll wait and see that it's not overly ambitious first.

No, the point of buying the PC version is if you want to play it and you don't have a console. But what they really mean is that they don't want to put the effort into redoing the controls and making the port. I have a very hard time imagining how there could be controls that would be impossible to translate to the PC effectively.

At least it's slightly better then LucasArts' nonsense reason why they won't port TFU.
