News Paul "Pee Wee Herman" Reubens, R.I.P.

Paul Reubens, the actor best known for portraying Pee-wee Herman, died Sunday night after a private bout of cancer. He was 70.

He's riding with Large Marge now.

Most people talk about the Big Adventure movie, but when I was a kid, my parents had the Pee Wee Christmas special on tape.

I just remember, at the start of the special, somebody calls him and starts singing 12 days of Christmas. He ducks out of the call and puts a Pee Wee doll in his place. At the end, he checks in again and she's saying "On the 500th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me..."

And Magic Johnson was Magic Screen's cousin.

I don’t remember that but I remember KD Lang. Little Richard was there and there was a bit where he said “If you don’t have snow just use 14 pounds of coconut shavings”.

At the start he made a giant Christmas list and then he got not many presents because he got greedy.

Oh, one more tidbit about he Christmas special., Everyone got him fruitcakes for Christmas, then he used them to build a new wing of the playhouse.
