Paul Kaye IS the 11th Doctor.

Just because they can do that doesn't mean they should. I think it would be far more fascinating to see The Doctor face his mortality when he's on his final incarnation and how he finally faces death.
"Caves of Androzani." :)

No, seriously. "Caves of Androzani."

"The Brain of Morbius" shows that there are pre-Hartnell Doctors. Assuming there are no other Doctors than the ones we're shown in that episode, then Davison is the thirteenth Doctor. Which makes his final lines, "Is this death?" a reference to his uncertainty as to whether or not he can regenerate again.

Could that be why Colin Baker's Doctor is so unstable? Because he's a Doctor too far?

Intriguingly, Colin Baker's first story involves a Time Lord attempting to regenerate into his fourteenth incarnation. Coincidence?

I still understand why people persist on The Brain of Morbius theory. It makes just as much sense that those faces were Morbius'.

Has "the other" been discovered yet? After all, The Face of Boe told the 10th Doctor, "There is another".

no he didnt the Face of Boe said "you are not alone"

the Master is alive at the end of the universe, whatever you do dont let him open his fob watch, I cant help but feel Boe should have given the Doctor a more exact message

That was answered in the last 3 episodes of Series 3.

By the way, the message was "You Are Not Alone."

I recently saw Neverwhere for the first time.

In chatting with the co-worker who lent it to me, and for whom I tape Dr. Who, we agreed Paterson Joseph (The Marquis De Carabas) would make an interesting Doctor.

Paul Kay is too old and so is Eddie Izzard. I hope the go for fresh face like the did this time. I have heard the John Simm talk too. I am not sure if he would want to sign up for more than a year.

Isn't Paul Kaye that fat comedian who says garlic bread or something?

I never understood why garlic bread was so funny but I do know he is even less liked than Katherine Tate.

Patrick Stewart (yes, I am serious).

He would be a good choice. I would to see the dynamic created through an older Dr. It would be refreshing. However the good people who run tv these days don't want that, they want a young Dr.
