Patrick Stewart in

Seasame Street: ODE to the letter S! - 1973

In fact he did a shakespearian hamlet role. With the skull and everything.

:)

Nope I'm not... He as actually in the children's company a few times. Like Morgan Freeman was on Electric Company. In fact Stewart also appeared there too, in abt 1975... guest spot.

Excalibur, 1981.

KNights of Round Table Movie.
Little weird but very good

I remember him from that movie. He played a knight or something. He had some serious guns on him back in the day. Have to admire him in a completely heterosexual kind of way!

;)

He was great both as Henry II in the remake of A Lion In Winter and as Ahab in Moby Dick.

How about as the snooty matre'de (sp?) in LA Story with Steve Martin?
This film made me realize how perfect he'd be as Col. Klink if they ever remade Hogan's Heroes.

You're kiddin'?

Here he is. Letter of the day, was, predictably enough, B. And I think the number was One.

THE. NUMBER. SHOULD. HAVE. BEEN. FOUR.

THERE. ARE. FOUR. LIGHTS.

And the letter should have been D. No bloody A, B, C or E.

In the movie Excalibur Stewart played Leondegrance, Guenevere's father.

:) Now that brings back memories. I used to have that on VHS. I remember it airing when my daughter was a toddler and we taped it.

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

Excalibur's been an all time favorite of mine since I first saw it years ago. I didn't realize that Stewart was in it until like 10 years ago when I rewatched it and was like 'Hey!'. Rather small part, but decent nonetheless.

thank you! I have not seen that for probably thirty years and can barely remember that anyway.

LOL! Thanks for the correction..

Ah, good old 'B', not quite the nemesis that 'Q' proved to be, but clearly also fond of placing the Enterprise crew in period costumes... :p
