Parks and Recreation had a great week this last week. They got renewed for a full (Hopefully) season, and the Harvest Festival episode was hilarious, and one of the best episodes of the series. Everything about it was awesome, but that animation between the Tribe leader and Leslie was hysterical. I was surprised to learn this was the first episode they filmed after Poehler's pregnancy but they did not lose a step. I honestly thing the Harvest festival was something that the season would end with, but they brought it in quite early. Looking forward to seeing where everything goes from here, as this arc kind of wrapped up.
Also, one reason I love this show was shown at the end last night. This is a show where getting a victory in something is an achivement and makes me feel good. Watching the perkieness of Leslie, or Ron Smile at Lil' Sebastian (That was awesome by the way), or just Pawnee coming to this thing which was a success made everything worth it and made me smile. I didn't realize how much I cared about all these people until that moment but that's a credit to the writers and actors. Parks and Recreation has not only come into it's own since the tremoltuous season 1, but it's become one of the best series on TV and my favorite show of the week.
I'm glad this series has been renewed, and I'm glad the Ratings are staying stable. You don't get shows like this very often and this is an amazing show.
