Paranoid bull****

When will people learn that someone is to take over an airplane, they aren't going to sit there talking about it. The really succesful terrorists are the ones that doesn't make you suspicious at all.

If these six people had been African-American instead of of South Asian descent, the airline would have had there asses sued off by now.

So, "Wow, the jets are right next to my window" is now a comment people "shouldn't make on the airplane"? I wonder if "Damnit, the jets are right next to my window" is more acceptable? I know I've said that before and not been dragged off the plane and turned over to the FBI. Perhaps they should have been more complainy like white folks. I'm sure then the assholes who were eavesdropping on their conversations wouldn't have batted an eye.

AirTran should be sued for refusing to re-seat them if not for the entire incident.

I become more and more ashamed to be an "American" by the day...

Probable cause...

Probable cause of what, exactly? Newsflash: If terrorists are remaining aboard a plane with the intent to blow it up, they aren't really concerned about finding the safest place to sit. Two seconds of thought instead of a knee-jerk reaction by anyone involved in this process from initial complaint to deboarding should have worked that one out.

I've had this exact conversation on planes several times without incident, as I'm sure numerous others have as well. Let's not pretend that this had anything to do with probable cause or the actual content of what they said when it clearly had everything to do with their appearance.

One wonders why you bothered to comment at all then?

But hopefully someone will hear your cry for help and invent some sort of "search engine" device to assist in finding other articles similar to this one.

While it is foolish to have kicked them off. I agree, seeking the safest place on the plane has nothing to do with terrorism. This is not about bigotry or hate, it is just fear.
Let's not sue and blow it out of proportion.

The real affects of this is that where ever that family was going, they didn't get there on time. I am sure they are mad, but let's not get all offended. Forgive and forget...

The real issue i have is with airtran; even after the FBI cleared the family they wouldn't reseat them.
