Does anyone know if the audio for the film is still good, or was it damaged?
It says that its a copyright issue underneath the video. Maybe the music?
The guy who uploaded it says that the original audio is damaged.
I downloaded the video from Youtube. When played back locally one finds that it does have a soundtrack - the uploader (presumably) has tracked musical selections from TOS on to the video to replace the damaged soundtrack, and it's this music that's being blocked for copyright reasons while on Youtube. There is no original dialogue, sound effects etc from the movie itself.
The fellow who uploaded this appears, from comments he made attached to another of his uploads, to have been somewhat offended by the captions attached to material he supplied to the author of My Star Trek Blog. Cosentino himself seems to have taken all that for what it was, just fun, and has become friends with the blogger and promotes him in today's entry at http://paragonsparagon.com.
