Did a Baybayin Typography/Calligraphy render of The Hundreds' Adam Bomb character:

^Thanks. Though they are hanging on strings!
Oh, yeah. They really blend in with the background. Well, they're still floating around like Butterflies, whatever their mode of transport. :D

No, no-- you're supposed to be inspired not expired. ;)

I like the first electronics picture; what filter did you use for that one?

you know pasting various angles of the same shot as layers then they filter each other through say layer one is 70% grain extract or the next one is grain merge and so on I like the whole list and look @ most of the possible filters & merges then select what it is that one seems like an emboss filter but really it is the layer effects they are just about the same but not quite.,

:)

They spell "Ang daan daan", which is the rough translation to the brand's name, "The Hundreds". Literally, "The hundred hundred"
Heh. Nice little homage.

Interesting approach. I'll have to experiment with that.

This is beautiful, think.

I've started submitting some of my works as prints for sale on deviantArt! I don't know if anyone would buy them, but it's worth a go. I also am going to print out a bundle of postcards with a picture and my website and email on them to leave around the city in shops and restaurants. Hopefully it will help to get my name and work out there!

I'm also toying with the idea of making Christmas cards, Valentines, etc. I've always loved making them. I don't know if they'd sell, but it'd be fun for me.

Nicely done TSQ... err tsc. On DA, I was only active for a couple months before I got sick of the people. But I think you'll last longer :-D

Sold a print of my Rainbow piece to this lil cutie here. She was so adorable as she nagged her mom to buy it! I almost gave it to her for free... good thing her nagging skills were on point:

Even if they don't sell, you can send them to your friends. My Dad has old Christmas cards that Thomas Nason sent his father (my grandpa was Nason's veterinarian) and they're quite cool.

^Thanks! All my color work is in marker, actually. Though I'm considering fiddling around with colored pencils a bit, just because they're cheaper.

I am really looking forward to it. I think it'll be a lot of fun.

Hehe...My dad just saw the newspaper crane picture and asked if it was Hugh Laurie. It was unintentional, but it does look an awful lot like him. I was catching up on season five of House around the same time I drew it. This happens sometimes. I have a whole series of drawings with men who look vaguely like Christopher Eccleston in them because I went through a productive period around the same time nuWho came out.

Inspired yesterday, I decided to finally have a go and try a computer-based painting sketch thing. I created this one on Paint Shop Pro late last night:

I'm no good with names, so called it "Self Portrait One." Even though it possibly isn't.

^^ Now use it to make an album cover. :rommie:

Did you draw that using a mouse or do you have a pad? That's damn good.

I might upload it to Flickr - and we'll see who uses it as their album cover.

Thanks. :) I drew it using a mouse. I'm not yet that hardcore or devoted to invest in a tablet or something similar.

But yes, doing all those brushstrokes is hell on my mouse buttons. If I had one of those pen tablet things, I could put in much more detail very precisely, such as tiny twigs with a 1-pixel brush, and even put more speckles into the untouched snow on the road.

Beautiful. I can't draw with the Mouse at all, though I can touch up and color. I'd love to have one of those Tablets. :D
