Did anyone see the fight tonight? I just started getting into Boxing because a friend of mine was really into it, and I am shocked. I knew Pac Man was good, but man did he have a shot to Hatton's jaw that is probably heard around the world. Kind of a pity it only went 1 and a half rounds.

Make Mayweather Jr/Pacquiao happen already. I would love to see that fight.

Pac's the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and has been for some time IMO. Mayweather Jr/Pac looks a certainty now and I can easily see Pac Man beating him as well.

Hatton's good on his day but Mayweather Jr showed that he's a class below, and in truth, Pac showed him last night that he's on a whole different level to him.

I'm more of an MMA fan, but I'll watch boxing from time to time. Pacman is a beast though.

Hatton has had a wonderful career and not many people can say they dominated the light welterweight for 4 years held another title at full welterweight but he was beaten by the 2 best boxers currently around. Hatton just can't change but I don't think he should retire just yet, the world dream is over so he should end his career on an domestic level by shutting up Junior Witter in Manchester and retiring...British boxing wants it the world boxing dream is over.

As for Paccy he will defeat "I have a big gob" Mayweather because he has Freddy Roach who knows how to beat him because hes's the best. Wasn't Freddy in Oscar's corner when we all know he beat Floyd but loss cause one judge watched the wrong match.

Paccy vs. Mayweather will be the best fight of the last 10 years and Paccy is going to become the best fighter of his entire generation by wacking that smirk off Jr.

I watched the fights last night.

Hatton is a tough guy with a good heart and loyal fans. He's a great story.

Having said that, you could see how overmatched he was immediately. Pacquio is smarter and faster. The interview with Roach after the fight was very telling. Basically, they knew all Hatton's tendencies, and practiced the hell out their strategy.

Assuming Mayweather beats Marquez, that would be a great match-up.

The Sato fight was pretty good. And that Russian on the under card (Korobov?) is an absolute monster.

When Mayweather is ready to retire again he'll need a big nest egg. That fight will do it..
