P+ (UK) missing scenes?

Am I going crazy? Encounter at Farpoint, wasn't there a scene where Worf tries to attack the view screen like a moron? And a scene where Picard apologies to Beverly for shouting at her and Wesley? The fuck is the point of putting these shows on streaming and cutting out minutes of scenes? They appear to have done the same thing with DS9 and cut out the O'Brien/Picard goodbye.

Why do streaming companies seem intent on making people pirate their shit now?

The Emissary goodbye scene was never shown in Germany either, and Farpoint never had the first meeting of Picard and Bev in it before the remastered one was aired.

Strange. They've been removing scenes for ages, ever since they had tv shows on syndication, but last time I watched Encounter at Farpoint, I was pretty sure that Worf scene was there. Mmm.

I contacted them and put in a few scenes that were missing from Farpoint. I also felt there were scenes missing in naked now, like I thought there were more of the drunk engineering stuff where they're playing around with the machines and Wesley has some weird special effects thing but maybe I missed it.

This is a great resource for sanity checks. I believe they're UK based too, not that it should really make a difference.

Look at the screencaps on TrekCore and point out which scenes you mean exactly

I just spent a couple of minutes having a look. Judging from that, the entire scene with Bev and Geordi has been a little bit cut and moved to episode 2 so there is a different scene order.

The scene between Bev and Picard apologising has been completely cut for some reason from what I can see.

The phaser scene is at the end of episode 1, but I think I just got it confused with the start of episode 2 having the same scene but without the phaser being pulled because it was a "last time" type thing. I mean its not a big deal, but it definitely gave me Mandela Effect vibes.

The two part versions of the series premieres (and other episodes that originally aired as a feature length episode in a two hourr slot) always had those scenes missing, they were removed way back in the 80s/90s by Paramount when they edited the long episodes into two one hour episodes episodes, scenes had to go to make room for additional opening credits and to not extend the regular length of an episode. This was not done by Paramount+, the one hour episodes never featured those scenes.

Are the episodes labelled "Part 1" and "Part 2" on Paramount+? If so, there's your problem - they'll be playing the syndicated/edited two-part versions which removed all those scenes you mentioned ("Emissary" for DS9 as a two part episode also removed the O'Brien goodbye scene).

They are the syndicated version Voyager suffers the same fate. Caretaker, dark frontier, flesh and blood, endgame all cut. Plus stereo sound only not the 5.1 tracks that are on Netflix and dvds. It’s infuriating!
