Those scenes never actually got very 'Tom Jones' unfortunately.

The desk scenes, too, promised so much yet delivered so little. There she was in only the second episode ever, already making herself comfortable on the captain's desk, and then so little happened after that. "Not now, Doctor." And then later never really came...
