The Klingon restaurant was interesting, when they showed it.

But y'know, Qaurk's is fun.

It's a shame that the Klingon restaurant only made a couple of appearances.

I distinctly remember the time Dax introduced her fellow trill, the one that she was mentoring, to Klingon cuisine at that Klingon restaurant.

The proprietor/chef of the joint was an overly friendly sort. The food kind of made me think of a sushi restaurant with the raw seafood. Looks like a lively place to have a meal.

Garak's shop, of course. He wasn't simply hemming pants, and trimming fabric, you know. Quite clearly he was often engaged in planning and preparing some his most elaborate schemes. We can quibble about the nature and motives of these schemes, but rest assured, they were clearly hatched in his shop.

The Martus Mazur Casino thing was such an hilarious episode for me.

I only recently saw it for the first time, admittedly I love DS9, but for years now I’ve given most of the early episodes a miss in favour of Season 5, 6 and 7 and I gotta say, there are some very weird stinkers in Season 1 and 2 in particular and some bright spots.

But Martus Mazur and his casino are right behind Move Along Home was a pretty bad spot.

While i like both episodes, Rivals is much better than Move Along Home. Actually, I don't really understand why Rivals is so maligned. The probability thing was kind of nonsense, but we did get some fun comedy between Martus and Quark and there were some fun moments with the Bashir/O'Brien storyline.

I agree. Rivals had some good comedy moments. Not one of the very best episodes, but not the worst either. Move Along Home, however, has little going for it.

Since Garak is one of my absolute favorites, then i would probably drop in there for a chat.
I would also try the Klingon restaurant.
But Quark's is where the action is!

It's true, Quark's is where the action is. Even Garak and Bashir have their lunches in Quark's, and neither of them even likes Quark very much.

I think most of them like Quark. Except Worf and possibly Garak. They just don't see him as a friend. Except Both Dax's and Odo though Odo would never admit it. I think maybe even Jake. I think Jake being a close friend to Nog made Quark kind of trust him more than the others especially when dealing with private stuff. I mean he flat out told Jake one of his schemes when he was trying to get Odo on a date with Kira in order to get a shipment of something illegal though I forget what it was.

I'd definitely try a Jumja Stick!

Other than that I'd definitely would like to visit the Bajoran Shrine and Garak's store.

On the other hand I would never eat at that Klingon restaurant. Not for all the tea on Bajor. I'm not eating writhing worms or dishes that involve copious amounts of blood. And I'm pretty sure the owner gets upset if you don't clean your plate.

I also would love a Jumja Stick. I think I heard one actor once say or maybe it was a writer though that mentioned the actual prop was pretty gross to lick or something like that. You know I also want some Bajoran Haspart. Also I would be willing to try out some of the aged meat Kira was talking about as well. Sounds gross but I assume it would be safe if someone was being allowed to serve it in a restaurant.

I imagine the "aged meat" might be similar to jerky? Hasperat might be similar to pita/shawarma, so I'd totally eat that.

You can get matured beef, which is lovely. Been a while since I had matured steaks but they were beautiful.

I usually don't like super sweet things, but I'd try a jumja stick at least once to see.
Maybe opt for an Osol Twist instead :rommie:

I did always get a kick out of that "Of course not. It's only a game." line at the end. I also liked how Quark grovelled: showed he was really freaked out about the idea of actually hurting these people early enough in the series that a casual viewer may have thought he was a villain in the series.

I'd definitely try a Jumja Stick!

I'd try one, but not from the booth on the promenade. I've never forgotten when that lady wouldn't sell one to Keiko because she refused to teach Bajoran religion in her public school. I'd feel like I was giving money to Chick Fillet.
