Other Starship Classes

[USS Excelsior]

This movie is an opportunity to show other classes of starships in the TOS era for the first time, most likely less advanced than the Constitution Class, speaking of which this also happens to an opportunity to officially retcon that class name for that ship all along.

So anyway would this movie come up with completely new never before seen classes of starship or retcon non-canon classes like the Cherokee class and the TOS Miranda with the cylindrical warp nacelles.
