What other film composers would you have considered for the Star Trek movies? The movies that exist, the ones that never got made (like Star Trek: The First Adventure) or possible upcoming film productions.
Silvestri?
John Williams could've done a Trek movie for sure, given that the whole tone of their scores is kind of riding on his coattails a bit
A Danny Elfman one back in the day might've been interesting. As for today? I'd be interested to see Ramin Djawadi take a shot at it.
Probably great, except that he died more than eight months ago...How otherworldly would a Vangelis Star Trek score be?![]()
Yeah, but he's less dead than Kamen and Poledouris and you let them slide.Probably great, except that he died more than eight months ago...![]()
Yeah, but he's less dead than Kamen and Poledouris
Sorry. Guess I wasn't paying attention.Yeah, but he's less dead than Kamen and Poledouris and you let them slide.![]()
I wondered about that as well. I think TVH would have felt a bit more epic.I never thought about this before but has anyone ever wondered what James Horner would have done with Star Trek IV if they could have got him?
