Good, good. You are on the right track Rattrap and sojourner. To tell the truth it's not that easy knowing from where that ship comes from, because there is a lot of confusion between Deathshadow, Deathshadow2 and Arcadia. Took me a while to know it was DS2.

Yes I did saw it in french only, a long time ago (20 years or so...). All the story arc about the Sylvidres is great and the one I prefer. I don't know if the Sylvidres (The women vampire plant) are called that way in english...Anyway, I would like to do an illustration of the Sylvidres one day, and also their ships. But I decided to do DS2 first, hopefully a modern adaptation of it, retaining most of the original design.
Like you said, the ship changes a bit everytime. Even the 3 models kits I found were also differents. Albator was a very stylish anime. I saw an episode last year and even by today standard, it's still quite unique in it's presentation.
This is actually an old project I started 6 months ago and I wasn't satisfied with modelling it in Cinema 4D. So I am trying to finish it this time in 3DS max. All the front nose part was imported from Cinema 4D and was made in Nurms. There are 2 versions of Harlock's ship, I chose the DeathShadow 2 because I find it more sexy. This isn't an actual replica either, rather an modern interpretation. In french the ship was name Atlantis.
Update. Change the wing completely. I decide for two engines. Replace the big missile for a big gun (Still need some work on the sides), gonna add two small ones on top of the wing (With a base). Like I said an adaptation... Still not decided on what I will do at the tip of the wings.
