I submitted a Merlin outline to Random House Childrens a few years ago; I found out who the editor was over there handling the Merlin line and decided to give it a go. What's the worst that could happen -- he'd say no?Other franchises I still want to write for someday: Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Primeval, Merlin, Dark Shadows, Xena, Kolchak. Heck, I wouldn't be adverse to trying my hand at Conan, too.
Again, I was going to suggest that Keith could probably have fun with Doctor Who, but I think he's already done that . . . .
It has been over a decade since Foundation's Triumph; it's time for the Asimov estate to commission another novel set in the Robots/Empire/Foundation universe.DorkBoy [TM];5232529 said:How about an Isaac Asimov's Foundation novel by Christopher?![]()
I'd be interested in seeing an Andromeda novel from Christopher.
...and I would've loved to do a complementary prequel novel about Dylan and the Commonwealth in its prime.
And of course there's zero chance of reviving the tie-in novels. Outside of its fanbase, Andromeda is considered a minor footnote in genre television. There'd be no market to speak of.
And then, of course, there are those series that sadly never beget book lines. I always thought CHUCK or THE HUMAN TARGET would have been fun to write for, but nobody ever licensed the book rights. And I remained amazed that nobody ever did COLD CASE books. That seemed like a natural.

Definitely would like to see more Warehouse 13 novels by Greg, and would gladly read Lonemagpie's shot at it, too.

Thanks! I'm crossing my fingers for the proposed H. G. Wells spinoff, too.
One author, under a pseudonym (his real name is Anton Gill). Though they're all novelizations of the games so far, not original novels....the Assassin's Creed universe's mix of history, fantasy and SF is right up my street, but sadly is a one-author (or house pseudonym, perhaps) series.
