I know it's not Trek related, but I had a bit of spare time the past couple of afternoons, so I knocked up a little space fighter to pass the time. It's based on a little fighter shape I saw in the background of a friends picture, and I thought it would make an interesting ship. Here's a couple of pics.

Looks fantastic, great modelling, although the side profile really reminds me of something i've seen elsewhere but can't quite put my finger on it....still love it though. Would love to see an animation of it ;)

That's a nifty little ship... Kinda reminds me of a TA-4F Skyhawk.

    Great work!
But it actually looks less like a space fighter and more like an evolution of the submarine fighters from the final season of SeaQuest.

Yeah, people keep throwing up Seaquest at me, but it's a show I never watched beyond the first couple of episodes. Trek underwater, with added suck.

I have seen the Seabreacher before on The Gadget Show, looks like a right laugh. I guess any remotely fishy ship now is going to get Seaquest and Seabreacher comparisons, cant be helped. The fact its a sort of scuba yellow/black colour scheme also adds to the effect. If I changed it to another colour it might not be quite so submersible, but I love the look of it in that scheme.

Patrick, I'm guessing it's the sort of hump-back shape and small size that's reminding you of the Skyhawk. It was similarly bulged behind the cockpit.

    GORGEOUS!!

Kinda reminds me of that "Stinger" minisub on SeaQuest.

You wn a major prize, the first to notice the deliberate error. Everyone else was dazzled by the model, but you saw through it in no time.
