OT: Non-Trek Tie Ins discussion thread

Do you watch any of the show or the movie first, or do just jump right in?

Wow, I can't believe I missed that, that's a definite mus read for me.
I'm hoping they'll evetually hire @KRAD to write one of those, he did a great job on the movie's novelization, and was supposed to write an original novel, but publisher changed their minds about doing original novels before he wrote it.

I can't believe you missed it either!

Hey all; I have a new Non-Trek tie-in on sale - Firewall, based on the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell videogame series, published by Aconyte Books.

It's out now in digital and audiobook formats, with the US paperback releasing tomorrow (March 15th) and the UK paperback out on June 9th.

I was remembering that I liked Greg Cox's books about Infinite Crisis and 52 and wanted to add them to my Kindle wish list. Surprisingly, it seems like they are not available in that format, along with a couple other DC event books from that same time. Greg, do you think that we will ever see them in electronic format?

Wish I had an answer for you, but I haven't talked professionally to anybody about those books in years. (The original editor is long retired at this point.)

Thanks for your interest, though.

While making that search, I saw a few books of yours I haven't read yet that look interesting:

Dark Knight Rises novelization
Godzilla (2014) novelization
X-Men and the Avengers: The Gamma Quest Omnibus
Batman: The Court of Owls

Is there one that you would recommend for fast-tracking, or are they all about equal in your mind?

I hate choosing favorites, but it may depend on whether you want a original novel or a novelization of a movie you may have already seen.

For what it's worth, COURT OF OWLS is fairly recent and was well-received. (It even won a Scribe Award.) Thanks again for your interest.
