OT My Galactica Fleet, one ship at a time

darkwing_duck1

Vice Admiral
I made a breakthrough in figuring out the DOGA settings, so I went back and reworked my models accordingly.
I'm going to present each ship in it's own beauty shot, one at a time in groups of 2-4 (click pic to get full size).
First, an Aquarian liner:

An Aquarian militia vessel:

An Aquarian Tanker (Type 1):

and an Aquarian Tanker (Type 2):

Simple and basic 3d software based on pregenerated parts and texutres that you can manipulate. More limited than full-on "geometry up" modeling, but easier to use and suited to people who don't have extensive amounts of time and effort to put into modeling.

It's free to use (with a couple of features disabled, like the animation function), or you can pay a small fee and have the whole package active.

What did you think of the models themselves?

These strongly remind me of the ships in the old Stars! computer game; still your ships also look good in the BSG 'verse, a mix of the beautiful and functional.

Caprican transport

Class 1 Agro ship (unknown colony)

Colonial Columbia/Nova-class battlestar (canon)

Colonial Valkyrie-class battlestar (nG canon, my interpretation)

Colonial "Commstar"

"Colonial Movers" freighter (canon)
