Origins of Redjac

I always though it would've been a neat touch if Redjac's voice (once inhabiting the computer) had been someone else's besides John Feidler. It makes the "character" of Redjac very Hengist-centric, especially since he was the one they beamed out and dispersed in the end. It sort of gives the impression that Hengist was, in fact, Redjac.

Any one of a number of talented voice actors could have been really creepy reverberating throughout the ship.

Well, "Wolf in the Fold" isn't much else. If it's a logical step-by-step monster hunt, then the monster being Jack the Ripper is sorta irrelevant and uninteresting (since it's not him, but some sort of an alien with all-new parameters defined in the episode). If it's a whodunnit, then being supernatural ruins it just like it always does (because the rules go out of the airlock). But it is a good ghost story if it keeps you wondering and not quite believing...

Timo Saloniemi
Its's a supernatural who-done-it where Jack the Ripper is an immortal body hopping alien monster.

Like Jimmy Doohan! That would have been scary, what if Scotty was the killer all along!

But I do see your point. For me, though, the voice was altered enough I really didn't sound like Hengist to me.
