We do have a Discovery and the litverse thread and a Picard and the litverse thread each of which allow spoilers for their specified TV show.

Since we now have lots of TV shows to talk about I am trying to decide how to handle threads about them here in the Trek Lit forum. Since you are the people who do the actual discussing I'd like your opinions.

Bear in mind that the final decision is mine and I might not go with the option with the most votes if something else makes me think a different way is better.

I was going to put in a "no spoilers for TV shows currently airing" option, but we have an international group and streaming options may differ across countries so that one is out.

Please vote and discuss :)

I think one big thread for all of TV should be fine. They're only airing one show at a time, and the specific realm of references or contradictions towards the books doesn't come up that frequently.

I think one thread per show is ideal for non-US people, due to the different streaming services and delays in airing. For example, with Prodigy and Discovery overlapping later this year in the US schedule, but Prodigy not airing in Germany until 2022 on a completely different service I would be locked out of discussing Discovery's relationship with the LitVerse for essentially no reason.

I voted "Individual thread for each show, spoilers only for that show", for basically the same reason that @Jinn mentioned above: it's a lot friendlier for international members who may not see the shows on the same schedule as those in the US do. And even if you have the shows available on the same schedule, if you're behind on one but up to date on another, if it was just one thread, you'd basically be forced to miss the discussion around the show you're current on, in order to avoid seeing an uncoded spoiler for the show you're behind on.
