Opening Teaser and Part of Act I of "Enemy:Starfleet" Released

Luna is a beautiful WOMAN, who certainly does not look or act her age! If I fare as well, I assure you I will celebrate! Also, you need to see the episode, She has the ability to control minds and bend then to her will. As a teenager, I thought she was HOT, Now I think she is Beautiful, inside and out.
And Thanks for saying I am young and handsome!
James

You are young and handsome James :) As is Bobby Rice

You may remember from past posts on here that I am an ardent fan of Phase II. However, I could barely watch the scene with Barbara Luna --- it felt like she was channelling her Mirror, Mirror performance from 40 years ago. She is also much too old to be believable as a romantic interest for your Kirk. Hopefully my view will be altered once I see the final completed episode!

On a positive note --- I LOVED the attack scenes --- very reminiscent of Arena. Incredible production values here!

One minor quibble --- why was DeSalle in command and not Uhura? This was a chance for you to overcome the sexism of the 60's which put DeSalle in command in Catspaw instead of Uhura. (I realize that Phase II is trying to feel like 1969, but putting Uhura in the centre seat would have been tremendously progressive :)

Sometimes the reason for having one character instead of another in any given scene is a rather mundane production reason: perhaps an actress is only available to volunteer her free time for a day--long enough to deliver a line or two--and isn't available for several days of shooting a master shot and close-ups and reverse angles. So the lines go to someone who has the availability. Alternatively, of course, if we really need the character to do something that the actor just can't be scheduled for, we can re-cast the role. (But viewers don't really like that either.)

All that being said, Lieutenant Uhura was *already* shown to be in command in "Blood and Fire, Part 2," so we're already one step ahead of you.

Thanks for the detailed response Greg.

My bad --- I forgot about her scene in the "centre seat" in Blood and Fire, Pt. 2. You broke two frontiers with that episode -- Uhura in command and a gay relationship!

Keep up the terrific work!

Poor DeSalle. He can never sit in the center seat without that decades-old problem coming up again. Maybe someday. :vulcan:

It looks fantastic. Something made me laugh out loud literally though. When the alien beams fire on the landing party the crew run towards the fire and not from it. And is Spock a Time Lord as he seems to have many regenerations into other bodies?

Great photography and explosions can't wait to see the rest

^Same reason combat troops have short hair, to deprive your enemy of an easy hand hold.

Although, I suspect the purpose is more symbolic, to show Peter is finally growing up.

The opening was really well done, at times I forgot I was watching a fan production, which should speak volumes as a fellow fan film producer. Starting to feel like a dinosaur! Kudos, you've outdone yourselves this time... :bolian:
