Only Murders in The Building

Wiest won for Hannah and her Sisters in 1986 and Bullets Over Broadway in 1994 (interestingly she was also nominated in '89 for Parenthood which stared none other than Steve Martin!)

Randolph won for The Holdovers in 2023

and mable zero oscars but has won other award shows

So I guess that's a quite literal ex machina ;)

Kinda gave it away when Howard was walking with a woman in the mobility scooter in the credits.

I did like Howard's "I'm not going to be ignored."

So we now, possibly, know who the killer was (and why) but the bigger mystery is how the gang is gonna save the building! I wonder how far Pflug will go to prove to Mabel that he's a good guy?

Anyway, the mysteries has always come second place to the interactions and boy this was wonderful. From Oliver's last supper party to the return of several characters from previous seasons and Oliver and Charles' shared moment over a doorknob.

I was so busy last week that I never got around to episode eight, so I had two episodes to watch tonight! :D

I loved Charles and Oliver's joint therapy session, exploring the demons of their respective romantic lives...and then Williams crashed the show, complete with "Mmhm, I've been saying that from the beginning!"

The blackjack scene was a riot, too. Oddly, the moment I thought about all of the big awards wasn't in that scene, but rather the earlier table scene with Charles, Oliver, Mabel, Loretta, and Williams, but I agree the blackjack table scene is more awe-inspiring. :D

As for tonight, I love the sudden but very welcomed return of both Teddy and Theo! Were their returns a little forced? Yes. Do I care? Not one damn bit! Hopefully we'll get more of them in the finale...and maybe the return of Jan, too!

As for the mystery, I remain unconvinced that Lester murdered Nicky especially since he didn't actually tell Randall what he did. I highly suspect there's one more twist to be revealed, related directly to Howard's insight. Plus, there's still the question of Sofia's mysterious affair.

Lastly, I got a real kick out of Dylan and Becky Ann Baker's random cameo appearance two weeks ago.

i think the london location would be better if that was a spinoff of only murders in the building where it has 3 british verisons of charles mable and oliver living in a old posh upper class apartment building

Just finished the season. Looks like we will be getting some British actors for season 6. I’m guessing Sean Pertwee since he’s in everything

And/or Sean Bean!

Anyhoo that was great! I love that Lester did text them the identity of the murderer, and I suspected Pflug would come good in the end.

I wonder if they'll actually film in London or I'll be appalled as they pretend bits of New York are England

Some lovely moments between our trio, and some nice stuff for Howard as well, and Paul Rudd gets credited!

Bring on season 6, I can't wait!

The Arconia is an exact duplicate of a building in London, thus allowing them to reuse the same set and not have to go anywhere. They'd have to change the electric sockets though.

what a mind boggling season 5 finale episode 10

the actual owner of the finger and the actual killer of lester i never saw those coming like who would have thought that that guy was the killer and who also would have thought that the finger was from him and it was nuts how those 3 zillionaires were witnesses of what happened

but as for the killer of nick well the vet doorman did say that he did have enough of the mob running the building underground casino

and then that ending was like what the
