One of my 1/350 TOS ENTERPRISE BUILDS

Chris PikE

Commander
Red Shirt
Hey guys,
I thought I would share some pics of my Personal 1/350 Enterprise builds. I air brushed a custom mix of paints to reflect the original filming miniature as she was seen in the original series. I also adjusted the Lighting to reflect scale and not to look like an overly lit toy(a pet peeve of mine).

And a short video...

Truly outstanding! Looks like the real thing. Makes one wonder, why none of the semi-professional fan productions (like Continues or Phase II) have ever tried to recreate the original effects with an actual filmed model of the ship. I'm sure it can be done.

Many thanks.

I plan on doing just that.

Good job.

I know it was in the original design, but the little wanger off the lower dome is always a distraction for me. In nearly 50 years I never saw that onscreen, and on these new models it, for lack of a better term, sticks out.

But once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.

Umm, can you be responsible for the Smithsonian re-redo of the original? Please? This looks like the shooting model.

Okay, now you're just showing off.

Seriously, If not for the missing silhouette behind the starboard quarter window, You might convince me that it was a vintage shot of the 11 footer. Outstanding.
