I think about help often, especially when I'm feeling cynical or disappointed in people. Not only is helping a beautiful act, but being helped is beautiful as well. I feel I have a lot of words to say on the subject, and if my head weren't in an antihistamine fug I could do so sufficiently and eloquently. Anyway, it's something that is always pleasurable to meditate on.

Indeed. I've spent most of my life helping people, either personally or professionally, and it really makes everything worthwhile. It's both sad and joyous. People need help because the Universe is heartless; they get it because people aren't.
