Seriously, though. I've played along with the "weird" stuff. But I'm starting to take this personally. If you continue posting "weird" things, I'll assume I've somehow insulted one or both of you and be on my way. As Steve Martin said above, "Let's just move past it."

I don’t think most people post threadbombs that are “responses” to previous posters. Using this thread to back door attack other posters would be a serious issue, but honestly, with the posters involved in this thread, the possibility never even crossed my mind. I just assumed the sudden obsession with “weird” threadbombs was due to the corresponding sudden obsession with the word in the American political landscape.
So I trust that’s not what’s going on here. But just in case, a general reminder to all thread participants that this thread should just be used for sharing threadbombs, not for directing them at other members.
Okay, @Bekk Ishy Z , I read your post earlier today, but didn't have the time to properly respond.
As Avro Arrow correctly points out, and as has been explained to you at least once before when you were new and misunderstood what a threadbomb was, we are, in the overwhelming majority of cases, not posting a direct reaction to something somebody else posted.
I say "overwhelming majority", because, I admit, there have been very few cases where I myself did post something as a direct response to another poster.
For example, my very first post in this thread was a tongue-in-cheek reaction to a gif the late, great Locutus of Bored shared. It was not an insult, it was merely an ironic joke, deliberately misunderstanding the gif in question. Now, that could have gone horribly wrong, he could have taken it as a serious accusation, but I'm quite happy he got the joke (or, at least, I assume he got it, based on him giving my reaction a 'Like').
One other time i posted a direct reaction was when tharpdevenport was on a bit of a Simpsons trip where he posted just a lot of Simpsons gifs, and I mean, really, a lot. Like several gifs per post and just post after post after post, and nothing to even break it up a little. So, after a while, I decided to adress it, I clipped a meta-joke from the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover, the "I'm over the Simpsons" rant, if you're familiar with it. But even there, I wasn't trying to insult tharp. Was I annoyed by his shitload of Simpsons gifs? Yeah, they got a bit much after a while. But there's no rule saying you can't post a shitload of threadbombs all from the same source, and to be fair, The Simpsons has had so many seasons, there's just a lot of material to work with, so it's not tharp's fault that I got annoyed, and even when I was, I tried to communicate it in a humorous manner, because I didn't actually mean any offense. And I have to give it to tharp, the very next post was a gif of Homer Simpson saying "I understand", and a merry more Simpsons gifs followed.
Now, I think I'll have to prefix the next part; we used to have several threadbombs per post for a very long time. What I noticed was, a lot of graphics, especially gifs, per page did kind of slow the loading of the page, at least in my case sometimes even crashing the browser (we used to have shitty bandwidth, this thread has been going for a long time). I think at some point we started doing fewer threadbombs
per post, and by now it's standart to have only one per post.
But when I go hunting for threadbombs online, I usually find several at once. So, i hold some back for later. And when I looked into "weird", I just found a lot of good ones. All the ones I posted up to now? Found them at the first go.
I actually held the David Tenant one back too long, and @auntiehill posted it before me. Which is obviously fair, not like I own it, and good on her for picking it, too, because I like it.
And I still have some "weird" ones saved in my Imgur gallery, which I'm going to share. Well, just not in this post, because I'm not actively trying to be an asshole.
To be completely honest, though, while I didn't start this off trying to adress anybody, I did notice from your posts that you appeared to react to my posts, as if I called you weird, so I thought "Okay, I guess we're doing a comedic bit now", so I chose the next few to fit into that context.
Obviously, the line was blurred, and I crossed it at some point. For that, I am sorry. Remember, even if some reaction gifs here may be direct responses to your own threadbombs, none of them are targeted at you as a person.
But I also want to say something else; we don't interact much outside of this thread. It is fair to say that I don't know you further than a little of what you think is funny. Which means I really don't know you at all. And, I imagine, the same is true for you in regards to me. So, even if I was serious, even if I did think you were weird? Don't feel threatened about it. I'm just a stranger on the internet, I have no way to judge whether you are weird or not. Who am I to judge you?
(Hidden as to not distract from the context)
P.S.: Sorry for the wall of text, totally understand if you find this TLDR.
Short version is, I'm sorry, I didn't intend any personal attack, and please don't take my posts too seriously, especially in this thread.
