One ... DECADE!

Seeing 005 had such a grandiose return (albeit with a theme, rather the following self indulgent egofest) I've missed my anniversary by two days so decade + 48 hours. Still.

Ten years is more than a third of my life and I came to this board February 2000 (though my reg date doesn't reflect that - long story but suffice to say I had a few temper tantrums - the joys of youth).

18... now 28. Thank you TrekBBS for being one of the few constants of my life. Thank you for introducing me to such a wide range of ideas, be them enlightening, mortifying, hilarious, idiotic and linguistically terrifying enough to make me run to dictionary.com wanting to know what the hell some people were on about. As I sit back now I do realise this place has contributed a lot to my formative years as a late teen to nearly f-ing 30.

Anyways I still pop in every day and have a lurk. But maybe I should start hitting the keyboard again... With that said and I'm sorry Mr 005, but...

And I reckon I need a new avatar ... she looks like the girl in Full House.

I am back after a long absence in which I didn't have much opportunity to come here. I am sorry miss manners that the guys at Yuku deleted the Orb Hall board very quickly after they migrated them. At least I still recall that there were the rings of boards that sort of died out a long time ago.
