Proof of concept... CHECK.

I've taken some liberties with the design, mostly the round part of the nacelles and the underside (of course), but I like it so far. It's a wonderful design.
Now I'll begin detailing it and then print a bigger one. This may take some time, I'm not the quickest model builder.

Agreed. I think I missed this news. A wonderful effects artist, director, who leaves behind a wonderful legacy of work for future generations to appreciate.

You never know these days. If Cryptic hires Atolm as a concept designer and they start incorporating his ships into STO (I'd fly them!), there's that much of a better chance it can actually happen!
