Once Upon A Time Season 4

What a bittersweet end for Ingrid. I almost cried for her. :( All she really wanted was to be loved and accepted. I don't care about Rumple's storyline. Maybe they've written themselves into a corner with him. I do, however, look forward to the Disney villainesses in the coming episodes.

So the Frozen arc pretty much concluded tonight. Loved the episode. The writers really made Arendelle's royal family history dark and morbid. Pretty much Ingrid's entire life was cursed, with everyone she loved either dying tragically or turning on her. I will really miss Elizabeth Mitchell as Ingrid the Snow Queen, she did a great job.

The Shattered Sight spell was interesting. Boy did Regina go over the top especially wearing that dress. I expected more people getting murdered, but I suppose that might have been too much for a family show, so it was more I'm going to beat the hell out of you curse. I couldn't help but be on Snow's side when she said all those mean things to Regina.

I really enjoyed the whole Elsa and Emma friendship. I will be sad to see that go with Elsa probably getting back to Arendelle in next week's episode. The Arendelle characters will have to return home to get the kingdom back from Hans. Hans may have an army, but Anna will win since she has the sister with snow powers.

Yes, there has been a fair amount of visual and reference influence from the Disney versions of the fairytales and stories that OUaT has adapted, but, substantively, there is far more influence from and original reinterpretation of the non-Disney versions of said fairytales and stories in the series overall.
No, that's not even remotely close to being accurate.

Ask him about the fundamental interconnectedness of Voyager to all other things Voyager sometime if you have something stuck in your throat.

I wish Anna and Elsa stayed on as regulars. And again I'm not a huge Frozen fan. But Elsa has ice powers and Anna is absolutely adorable.

Loved last night's ep... esp the way they goaded Regina into trying to kill Emma & Elsa. The only thing I missed was Emma reassuring Regina that everything she said was a lie, after everyone came back to their senses. Who knows, maybe that will be in next week's ep.

I'll miss the Emma/Elsa friendship, but who knows perhaps that's the plan. To push Emma even further into a real friendship with Regina.

The evil Rumplestiltskin is really confusing me. Has he learned nothing in his long life, about true love or is he simply the male version of Ingrid?

Hopefully Belle realizes that Rumple is back to his evil ways. She's been clueless too long. Also I hope that next week isn't the last we see of the Frozen characters. I've really enjoyed them on the show despite not having seen the movie.

Right now the thing I want most is for Ingrid to be resurrected into her own spin-off.

As for the Frozen characters, I'm glad there's an end in sight. Not because i don't like them. Quite the opposite. They're the only reason I stayed this long. Once they're gone I'm bailing out of this series.

Cause really, if I have to hear Rumple call somebody "Dearie" one more time I'm gonna put something heavy through my TV screen.

I dunno, maybe if keeping Elsa and Anna required his death...

Well, of course, but you can tell by the way she was rocking that nightshirt while drinking cocoa that Ingrid looks good in anything...

Eh, for me Elsa is a little too nice and boring to keep around (despite being obviously gorgeous to look at), but I would definitely love to see them keep Anna as a regular. Not only is the actress just too perfect and inspired in the role to let go, but she would provide a hilarious new perspective on all the weird crazy shit happening in the town all the time.

Actually Rumple is the only one of the original characters I still really enjoy watching on this show. Even when he's not doing much, the actor still projects a quiet menace that is always compelling as hell to watch. And the scenes he had with Ingrid this season were much more interesting than anything Ingrid herself was doing, I thought.

And there's definitely a lot of potential in the idea of him taking his powers into the real world, if the writers actually follow through with it. In fact we're at the point where I wish ALL the characters would leave the damn town already.

Yes, because he comes across as the a-hole scientist from Stargate Universe, not a wizened little gnome, and every time he tries to play that wizened little gnome his acting grates on my soul.

Ingrid is what made those scenes interesting. Without her there's nobody in town capable of challenging him.

Whatever. I'm still bailing after Elsa and Anna are gone.

I really enjoyed the end of Ingrid's story. They actually managed to make me feel kind of sorry for her in the end, and I'm sad to see her go.
I really enjoyed the spell of Shattered Sight stuff. It was especially fun seeing Regina back in full on Evil Queen mode, and so was her fight with Snow.
I've enjoyed the Frozen stuff so I will be sad to see it end, but it does sound like the Queens of Darkness stuff could be cool. If any one is interested, EW did a story about the Queens of Darkness, AKA Malificent, Cruella de Ville, and Usula.
I am a little disappointed to see them turning Rumplestiltskin back into a full on villain after they did so much to redeem him, but I've still been enjoying his arc this season and I look forward to seeing where it's going.

The midseason finale is tonight!

I wonder how they are going to conclude the whole Frozen arc? I've been really enjoying the season so far!

Very interesting episode. Not quite sure what to make of the way they did Ursula. Having just 3 tentacles and legs was kind of weird, but I guess it would probably be hard to do the full on octopus lady on a regular basis. I wish we had actually gotten to see them fight off Hans and his brothers.
Other than that I really enjoyed this one. Belle banishing Gold like that really surprised me, I did not see that coming. I really hope they find a way to bring Robin Hood back, I liked him.
So it looks like those of us who thought The Sorcerer was The Author were right. I still wonder if "The Apprentice" was actually The Sorcerer.

I loved how Anna outed Mr Gold/Rumplestiltskin in time to save Hook. :bolian:

I loved how Belle finally grew a pair and stood up to Rumple.

I REALLY loved how Emma sat down to drink shots with Regina.

But the best was seeing Elsa in something besides that light blue dress. :)

Bye bye, Rumple. I felt no sympathy whatsoever for this guy. He deserved to be banished from Storybrooke. But have the rules of magic changed? It seems now when people leave Storybrooke, they retain their memories, like Rumple, Robin, Marian, and Roland.

So I guess we all have to wait until March for the second half of the season.

:scream:

I liked the midseason finale.

I felt like the whole Regina and Robin storyline dragged. But their ending almost made the whole thing worth it. I thought Robin was a huge douche though the whole thing, and I'm hoping this will be the last time we see him.

I'm so happy the whole Rumple trying to leave town thing is finally done with, with Belle being the one to kick him out. Belle had been such a weak character this year, and she deserved to be the one to screw up his plans.

The Frozen characters finally went back home though a Kingdom Hearts door. I was disappointed we didn't actually get to see them take the kingdom back from Hans, or the actual wedding. But they might be saving the wedding for the eventual Frozen sequel. Anna looked really cute in the white dress. The whole Frozen arc dragged a bit in the middle, but I enjoyed the storyline overall.

Looks like Rumple is going to be the Big Bad this season. He better watch out though, I get the feeling that the three bad ladies are going to betray him.
