Once Upon A Time Season 4

I do agree that the Snow Queen's motivation as revealed in this episode is a little underwhelming. Most of the threats they've faced so far have been a lot bigger, and have at least been a threat to Storybrook as a whole. Hopefully there will be more to it by the end of the season.

She's going to make all of Storybrooke turn on each other, presumably killing everyone except Emma and Elsa in the process - her motivation may be small, but she's still a big threat to the town.

My favorite part of the episode was Oaken.

Mine was Elsa wearing the coronation dress. Georgina Haig looked better in that than the ice dress.

And I'm officially in love with Ingrid the Snow Queen now. I don't care how silly her plan seems.

As for the rest? Meh. I'm not a fan of the show anyway. Boatloads of logic missteps and cliffhangers don't worry me much.

"Smurfit"?

Am I the only one who finds the Ice Queen's dress extremely distracting? Particularly in the overhead shots?

My main problem with this season so far is that there are less minor-plotlines around, so we see no character development (apart from Regina). I still enjoy the show a lot but I think not as much as before. Maybe my interest just fades naturally after four years...

It's always been the guest characters that are most interesting to me, like Pan and the Frozen cast.

^^ It's all part of her plan.

So you've become disenchanted....?

What amazes me most reading these questions is how little the show is sticking in my mind! Star on a wrist? Don't remember. Ending? Don't remember.

Favorites characters? Gold and Regina, both trying to find their way through the new personas they're trying to build.
You missed quite a few moments regarding the star.

1. The long camera rest of Lily's wrist with it
2. The conversation about it right afterwards
3. Drawing a star on Emma's wrist after that
4. Emma rubbing the star off her wrist at the end of Emma and Lily's relationship

Hey! I figured out why I didn't remember it! I hadn't seen it yet! lol

And Weaseltown makes his prequel appearance!! My experience is now complete!

Looks like Ingrid went through worse "Elsa" moments than Elsa went through... and she wants Emma to join the fun.

But how did Ingrid get out of the urn and Elsa get into it?

Next week better answer a lot of questions before they shut us down for another 3 or 4 months!

I wonder if the writers keep track of the Enchanted Forest timeline. The reason I bring this up is that I've noticed Rumple has been the Dark One for a very long time. He was there when Cora was still a young maiden. He trained Regina in the dark arts. He had met the three royal sisters of Arendelle long before Elsa and Anna were born. And yet throughout the decades, Captain Hook hasn't aged a bit, from the time Rumple's first wife abandoned him for Hook to the time he became the Dark One, up to Storybrooke.

Anyway, that was just a very sad backstory on Ingrid, no thanks to the Duke of Weaselton for all the havoc he caused. No wonder Snow Queen wants her own sisters.

Wasn't Hook in Neverland for a while?
That kept him young like the Lost Boys, right?

Wow, the flashbacks were great. Elizabeth Mitchell is doing an amazing job as the Snow Queen this season. She's the first Big Bad of this show I've actually felt some sympathy for.

I liked how Rumple was incorporated in the flashbacks along with the Urn and the blue gloves. I felt bad for Helga getting shattered like that. The actor that played the Duke was perfect. What a slimeball.

So Emma is pretty much going through the same thing Elsa did in the movie.

Also Robin Hood is such a douche on this show.

I'm really looking forward to next week's two hour episode!

There's three more episodes after next week - the midseason finale isn't until December 14.

Yeah, he was in Neverland, that's why he hasn't really aged.

But how did Ingrid get out of the urn
This has already been revealed, unless she was put in the urn more than once.

Did I miss it or just forget it with the back and forth way of story telling?

Really? Wonderful!
