The finale was a lot of fun. I loved the alternate Enchanted Forest.
So I wonder if we'll just get full on Evil Emma or if we'll get a story with her struggling to control the Dark One powers before either getting rid of it or losing control?
I wonder if Gold will be back?

I'd say there is no doubt Gold will be back, now that his heart has been cured. The real question, is, what will come of Belle's love triangle, now that Rumple is cured of being the Dark One? Rumple is her true love, Will Scarlett, she's only been building a relationship with, because Gold betrayed her (Plus, I am sure Emma will eventually be purged of The Dark One, so, they're most likely going to need a vessel to put it back into, which, I imagine will be Gold again)

I think Gold will come back- rested and rejuvenated by Belle and eventually reassume the mantel of the Dark One. Just my opinion, but Robert Carlyle is too good an actor with an incredible story arc to just write off.

Emma as the Dark One may not change that much- Rumple was one for many years and he did a lot of good instead of just cause chaos. Even when he was making a deal he would warn people about the price but most chose to ignore him.

Even though Henry broke the magic quill the apprentice seemed to act like he was still the Author...

Gold's alive but in magically induced coma. He still in danger because his body may reject his lightened heart according to the ew.com recap.

Yeah, he's in stasis or something. But do we know why his purified heart was white instead of red?

I don't think he'll have magic. I think that came entirely from the Dark One.

Yeah, but every other unsullied heart we've seen before has been red. Is he going to go to the other extreme now and turn into Gandhi or something?

It just seems odd that they would do that if it's not going to have some significance next season.

IIRC in that show you can use magical items even if you do not have magic yourself- and he has a shop full of that stuff.

That's probably it. A little role reversal, with Emma as the Dark One and Rumpy as the Savior.
